Three good things.
Before the day ends, write down three things that went well — tiny is perfect — and a line on why each one happened.
Small counts. So does the “why” — noticing what made it happen is the part that helps most.
WHY THIS ONE
In a well-known randomized study, people who wrote down three good things and their causes every evening for one week were happier and less depressed than a placebo group — and the effect was still there six months later. Doing it for a week is the version that was tested.
